Mao Zedong s“theory of seeking truth from facts”includes the basic contents and profound implications of“truism,practicality and seeking truth”.It is a theoretical creation that absorbs the essence of traditional Chinese“realistic”philosophy and adapts the true spirit of Marx s materialism--“understanding problems from practice--to China s national conditions”.It is not only the worldview theory derived from the Chinese Communist Party s Chinization of Marxist philosophy but also a methodology theory of“how to analyze and solve the problem of subjectivism in practice”.This paper makes a systematic methodology analysis of Mao Zedong s“theory of seeking truth from facts”in the way of Marxian materialism s“understanding problems from practice”,which is helpful to overcome the shortcomings of previous understanding of Mao Zedong s thoughts and methodology of“seeking truth from facts”that“only considers the object”and to promote a complete and accurate understanding.
