This paper introduces Zhou Xiuting and his works with a focus on the painting style and expression techniques of Mazu's Story Album.After a summary of the visual art of the images of Mazu's holy presence,it attempts to reveal his creative techniques in the decorative form of“Li Geng style”adopted in the painting of meticulous figures and discuss the modern aesthetic value of the illustrated handbook of Mazu's miracles.
