陈从周的园林修复与营造及其理念

Chen Congzhou’s Philosophy and Practice of Garden Restoration and Construction

文章聚焦于陈从周的造园实践,在全面梳理与其相关的造园案例的基础上,筛选其中与修复相关的案例,从现状遗存、历史信息、历史环境三个方面出发,对豫园、遂园、天一阁东园等不同类型的修复予以剖析,以探究陈从周对于修复、现状、真实性等所持的态度与策略。可以发现,陈从周面对园林遗产,相比于物质要素,更重视的是意境——这也是中国园林的一个重要特征,而尚未在园林遗产保护中得到充分的重视;陈从周以传统文人的方式介入园林修复与重建,遵循着文人园林的重要传统,成为园林意境与精神的传承及延续的一部分。

Based on a comprehensive review of Chen Congzhou’s gardening practice,this article analyses different types of restorations such as Yuyuan Garden(Garden of Pleasure),Suiyuan Garden(Garden of Contentment)and the East Garden of Tianyige(Pavilion of Heaven’s Oneness)from three aspects—the current status,historical information,and historical environment—to explore Chen Congzhou’s attitudes and strategies towards restoration,current situation and authenticity.The article finds that when facing garden heritage,Chen paid more attention to artistic conceptions than material elements.This attitude is also an essential feature of Chinese gardens,yet it has not received sufficient attention in garden heritage conservation.Chen Congzhou used the traditional literati approach in the restoration and reconstruction of gardens,following the critical traditions of literati gardens and becoming part of the inheritance and continuation of gardens’artistic conception and spirit.
