文化强国背景下高校外语教师使命研究

Research on the Mission of Foreign Language Teachers in Colleges and Universities under the Background of Building a Strong Socialist Culture

2035年文化强国远景目标的提出要求着力加强对外文化交流和多层次文明对话,这给我国高校外语教师提出了新的要求。这也是我国教育要坚持正确政治方向的要求、时代的要求以及教师生态位的要求。为了实现文化强国的远景目标,高校外语教师应该从立德树人的能力、外语专业素养、自身专业的科研创新及跨学科的科研创新等方面提升、完善自我,以承担并出色完成新时代赋予高校外语教师传道授业解惑和科研创新的使命,提高学生的语言运用能力和跨文化交际能力,加强文明交流互鉴,讲好中国故事,传播好中国声音。

The long-term goal of building a strong socialist culture in 2035 requires efforts to strengthen foreign cultural exchanges and multi-level civilization dialogue, which puts forward new requirements for foreign language teachers in the universities of China. Foreign language teachers in colleges and universities, therefore, have a new mission, which is the requirement of our education to adhere to the correct political direction, the requirements of the times, and the requirements of the teacher's niche. In the context of building a strong socialist culture, foreign language teachers in colleges and universities should be improved in terms of the ability to cultivate students, foreign language professionalism, professional scientific research innovation and interdisciplinary scientific research innovation, so as to undertake and successfully complete the mission of propagating the doctrine, imparting the professional knowledge, and resolving doubts, which can promote students’ language ability and intercultural communication ability and strengthen mutual learning among civilizations to make a better China story and make China voice better heard.
