本文主要论述从1644年崇祯自尽至1664年“夔东会战”的这段20年的南明史,特别是南方各省的抗清斗争、南明抗清的江西战场与南昌城的两次被清军攻陷以及在这个时代背景下来看八大山人剃度出家的人生选择。从而得出结论:这个急剧动荡的时代,不但决定性地影响了八大山人当时的思绪情绪和人生抉择,而且极其深刻地影响了他毕生的创作。所以,解读、欣赏八大山人的书法、绘画作品,就要对这段历史有个了解。

This thesis mainly focuses on 20 years of history of Nanming,from Chongzhen committing suicide in 1644 to the Battle of Kuidong in 1664,especially the Anti-Qing struggle in the southern provinces,the Jiangxi Battlefield in Nanming Anti-Qing struggle and the city of Nanchang being captured twice by the Qing Army.Under the background of this era,a conclusion can be drawn from the life choice made by the BadaShanren to become a monk:This turbulent era not only decisively affected the thoughts,emotions and life choices of BadaShanren at that time,but also deeply influenced his life's creation.Therefore,it is necessary to get a sense of the history before interpreting and appreciating the calligraphy and painting works of BadaShanren.
