The integration of the Yangtze River Delta is an established national strategy,and the integration of the Yangtze River Delta port group is its due meaning.As one of the most dynamic and potential areas for China's economic development,the construction of port groups in the Yangtze River Delta is of great significance for the regional economic and social development and the realization of common prosperity.This paper analyzes not only the prominent problems that seriously affect the healthy development of port groups in the Yangtze River Delta,but also the world-class port groups such as New York New Jersey combined port in the United States and Tokyo Bay multifunctional complex in Japan.A detailed explanation is made to the high-quality coordinated development path of the integration of port clusters in the Yangtze River Delta from such perspectives as the master planning,management organization,government role,coordination mechanism,cultural foundation,institutional system and advice from others,and so on so forth.
