Analysis and Improvement of Cracking Failure of Wind Scooper of Rotary Drilling Rig

导风罩是发动机冷却系统的重要组成部分,性能优劣直接影响发动机风扇能否正常运转。针对旋挖钻机导风罩开裂故障,进行有限元分析,确认故障的主要原因。根据分析结果,对旋挖钻机导风罩及防护罩进行改进、优化,避免类似故障再次发生。

The wind scooper is an important part of the engine cooling system,and its performance directly affects whether the engine fan can operate normally. In view of the cracking failure of the wind scooper of the rotary drilling rig,a finite element analysis was carried out to confirm the main cause of the failure. According to the analytic results,the wind scooper and protective cover of the rotary drilling rig were improved and optimized to avoid similar failures from occurrence again.
