椎动脉发育不良的研究进展

椎动脉发育不良(VAH)既往被认为是一种正常的先天性血管变异。越来越多的研究结果显示,VAH与动脉粥样硬化、椎-基底动脉延长扩张症、后循环缺血事件、眩晕等密切相关。该文就VAH的流行病学、病因与发病机制、诊断、导致的相关疾病等方面的研究进展进行了综述,以期有助于VAH筛查和随访观察的开展,避免或延缓VAH相关不良事件的发生,提升VAH患者的生活质量。

Vertebral artery hypoplasia(VAH)was previously considered as a normal congenital vascular variation.But more and more studies have shown that VAH was closely related to atherosclerosis,vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia,posterior circulation ischemic events,vertigo,etc.In this article,the epidemiology,etiology and pathogenesis,diagnosis,and related diseases of VAH were reviewed in order to facilitate its screening and follow-up.All of these will help clinicians avoid or delay the occurrence of VAH-related adverse events,and improve the quality of life of VAH patients.
