On the Characteristics and Differences of Yang Shen’s Poems on Plum Blossoms before and after Relegation

杨慎作为明代三大才子之首,三十余年的戍滇年月是其文学的集大成时期。在其所有诗作中,咏梅诗约有133首,绝大多数在贬谪云南后完成。其贬谪前的咏梅诗主学前人、荡放流动,给人渊雅秾丽之感,贬谪后的咏梅诗风格自成一派、清新绮丽,内容丰富且情感富于变化,别有一番风趣。

Yang Shen, as the first of the three talents in the Ming Dynasty, spent more than 30 years in Yunnan, which was the period of his literature. Among all his poems, there are about 133 plum chanting poems, most of which were completed after being relegated to Yunnan. His poems on plum blossoms before relegation are mainly loose and mobile, giving people a sense of elegance and beauty. The style of poems on plum blossoms after relegation is unique, fresh and beautiful, rich in content and emotional changes, which is interesting.
