"Broadsword, Horse and Man" is a traditional decorative pattern of handicraft works, which mainly depicts the scenes of war or martial arts. The three major components of Broadsword, Horse and Man often appear as decorations. Collected by Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, Shell Carving Ornament for "Broadsword, Horse and Man" of the Qing Dynasty adopts bas-relief and incised carving techniques on the inner wall of the shell to engrave the stories about Guan Yu defeating Zhou Cang in Woniu Mountain and Yang Fu borrowing troops to defeat Ma Chao during the "Three Kingdoms" Period.
