《素问·咳论》提出“聚于胃,关于肺”的理论,高度概括了咳嗽的病因病机。系统梳理了历代医家关于“聚于胃,关于肺”的认识与实践经验,从解剖、经络、五行、气机、津液、气血等方面阐述该理论基础。解剖相邻:肺胃位于膈肌的上下位置,两者仅一膈相邻。经络相通:脾胃经相表里,肺与大肠经互为表里,肺与脾同属太阴经,胃与大肠同属阳明经,同名经络经气相通,相互为用。五行相生:肺属金,脾胃属土,母子相生。气机相协:肺主肃降,胃作为六腑之一,以通为降,以降为和,胃亦喜降,肺胃同降。津液相承:肺的宣降和脾胃的运化正常,才能保证津液的正常输布与排泄。气血相生:肺主气司呼吸,脾胃为后天之本,气血生化之源。概述了应用此理论指导肺系疾病和胃系疾病治疗的现状。无论是肺系病从胃论治,还是胃系病从肺论治,都离不开肺胃,两者关系密不可分。参考文献46篇。

Theory of“accumulation in stomach and related to lung”was put forward in Simple Questions·Discussion on Cough,which highly summarized the etiology and pathogenesis of cough.This paper syste-matically sorts out the physicians’knowledge and practical experience of“accumulation in stomach and related to lung”in the past dynasties.Theoretical basis of“accumulation in stomach and related to lung”is expounded from anatomy,meridians,five elements,qi movement,body fluids,qi and blood,etc.Adjacent in anatomy:Lungs are located above the diaphragm while stomach is below the diaphragm,only one diaphragm apart.Meridian connection:The spleen meridian is exteriorly and interiorly related to the stomach meridian.There is the interior-exterior relationship between lung meridian and large intestine meridian.The lung and spleen belong to Taiyin meridian,and the stomach and large intestine belong to Yangming meridian.Meridian qi is connected and supported between the meridians with the same name.Generation relationship in five elements:Lung belonging to metal,spleen and stomach belonging to earth,they are generation relationship.Qi movement in harmony:Lung governs purification and descent,and the stomach is one of the six fu-organs,which are unobstructed in function and descent in harmony.Stomach prefers to descend,so lung and stomach descend in function.Body fluids complementing:The ascent and descent of lung and the normal transportation and transformation of spleen and stomach can ensure the normal distribution and excretion of body fluids.Mutual promotion of qi and blood:Lung governs qi and controls breathing;spleen and stomach are the acquired foundation and origin of producing qi and blood.This paper summarizes the current situation of this theory guiding the treatment of lung diseases and gastric diseases.No matter lung diseases are treated from stomach or stomach diseases are treated from lung,the relationship between them is inseparable.There are 46 references in total.
