Objective:To investigate the application effect of PIOFRA scale in oral feeding of premature infants. Methods:Sixty premature infants born in Fuyong People’s Hospital of Bao‘an district,Shenzhen city in recent years were selected as the research object. They were divided into control group and obser vation group by random number table method. The preterm infants in the control group were routinely fed orally. The PIOFRA scale was used to evaluate the preterm infants in the observation group, and the preterm infants in the observation group were reasonably fed orally according to the evaluation results, and then the clinical indicators of the two groups were compared. Results:The time of complete oral feeding and hospitalization of premature infants in the observation group were shorter than th ose in the control group, their body weight was larger than tha t in the control group, and the incidence of feeding intolerance was lower than that in the control group,P<0.05.After 3 d,6 d and 9 d intervention, the score of NNS scale in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,P<0.05.Conclusions:The PIOFRA scale was used to evaluate the premature infants before oral feeding, and the oral feeding could significantly shorten the time of complete oral feeding and hospital stay, reduce the incidence of feeding intolerance, and promote their growth and development according to the evaluation results.
