This paper expounds in detail the process of mass concrete from layering,blocking,pouring,curing to cracking based on the failure examples of mass concrete placement in bridge engineering,water conservancy and hydropower engineering,analyzes the main causes of the cracks,sums up the treatment and prevention measures of the concrete cracks,and provides a reference for the construction of mass concrete.
