Global Maoism: Lessons for Promoting the Chinese Experience Abroad

“中国经验”聚焦于中国发展的根本问题,是一种反映中国人的客观存在与经验的话语。毛泽东思想作为中国经验的一面伟大旗帜,为中国社会带来了巨大变革,扭转了近代以来中国积贫积弱的屈辱历史,为世界文明进程作出了卓越贡献。借鉴已有的毛泽东海外研究成果,深入考察毛泽东思想国际传播对从历史与现实、理论及实践中把握毛泽东思想的当下价值与现实启示具有重大意义。本研究梳理了毛泽东思想国际传播的历程及其价值取向,从国际传播图景、特点与经验等方面来重新观察与勾勒毛泽东思想国际传播的历史成就,提出毛泽东思想国际传播对于当下中国经验走向世界的现实启示。

Reflecting the objective reality and experience of Chinese people,the Chinese experience focuses on the fundamental issues of China’s development.As the cornerstone of the Chinese experience,Maoism has brought great changes to Chinese society and an end to China’s national humiliation resulted from its poverty and lack of strength in the 20th century.Maoism also made remarkable contributions to world civilization.Examination into the extant academic papers of Maoism from observers outside China and all aspects of global communication of Maoism is of great significance for us to understand how Maoism influences now and inspire the later generations theoretically and practically.This study delves into how international communication of Maoism developed,its value orientation,and re-evaluates and outlines its historical achievements from different perspectives,such as the landscape,characteristics and experience of international communication.At last,the study proposes how the successful global Maoism can help the Chinese experience get more accepted by overseas audience.
