三井住友信托是日本乃至亚洲资产管理规模最大的金融集团。上世纪末日本泡沫经济破灭后,公司开启了向资管业务转型的历程,逐步形成了以信托相关的手续费业务为中心的业务模式。本文深入考察了三井住友信托集团的四大信托主业、三大受托资产类型,以及财富管理业务和面向老年客户的信托业务。结合中国实际,三井住友信托集团的信托业务对中国信托公司转型的启示有:年金信托和资产证券化适合成为中国信托公司的主业;信托公司的财富管理业务适合于特色化、精品化定位;民事信托业务未来可期,但需长周期培育。

Sumitomo Mitsui trust is the largest fi nancial group with asset management in Japan and even Asia.After the collapse of Japan's bubble economy at the end of last century,the company started the process of transitions to information management business,and gradually formed a business model centered on trust related fees business.This paper makes an in-depth study of Sumitomo Mitsui trust group's four main trust businesses,three types of entrusted assets,as well as wealth management business and trust business for elderly customers.Combined with the reality of China,the Enlightenment of Sumitomo Mitsui trust group's trust business to the transitions of China's trust companies are as follows:annuity trust and asset securitization are suitable to become the main business of China's trust companies;The wealth management business of the trust company is suitable for the characteristic and high-quality positioning;Civil trust business can be expected in the future,but it needs long-term cultivation.
