Confucian benevolence is the inheritance of Chinese excellent traditional culture,which also embodies the lofty pursuit of social moral ideals in the past dynasties.Under the impact of modern social transformation and western culture,combing the internal fit between Confucian benevolence thought and socialist core values based on the present will help to get rid of the modern dilemma of Confucian benevolence thought.From the theoretical dimension,this paper discusses the connotation value inheritance of the socialist core values leading the Confucian benevolence thought.From the practical dimension,it discusses that the traditional cultural gene needs to adapt to the contemporary culture and coordinate with the modern society in order to continue and develop the historical context of the Chinese nation.
