The diagnostic criteria for superior semicircular canal dehiscence syndrome(SCDS)developed by the Bárány Society in 2021,which elaborated on the diagnostic criteria,clinical manifestations,diagnostic tests,imaging examinations and differential diagnosis,and analyzed the occurrence of the upper semicircular canal syndrome.It is clear that pure tone audiometry and vestibular-evoked myogenic potential response are the main diagnostic tests for the syndrome,high-resolution CT is the gold standard for imaging diagnosis and MRI is the auxiliary diagnostic method.This article interprets the diagnostic criteria and discusses the reasonable standardization of each content in the criteria.
