以翻译理论创新拓展话语空间——关于“国家翻译实践”研究的对谈

To Expand Original Discourse Capacity for Translation Studies in China by Theoretical Innovation:A Tripartite Dialogue on the Concept of State Translation Program

本文采取三人对谈的形式,以近年提出的"国家翻译实践"研究为例,围绕其概念生成、研究前瞻和反思,探讨通过理论创新拓展中国译学话语空间、服务国家治理和全球治理的路径和方法。本文认为,翻译理论创新应立足于解决当下的现实问题,尤其需要关注国家治理和国际治理等相关问题;多元话语创生路径是可取的,但应基于问题特征和研究特点,有所选择、有所侧重;简单模仿或盲目跟风不是创新之举;在方法论上,应当打破单学科思维,采取基于复杂性思维的跨学科、甚至超学科方法。

With a case analysis of research on the genesis,prospects and re?nement of the concept of State Translation Program(STP),which is put forward by Professor Ren Dongsheng,a Chinese scholar in the?eld of translation studies,in recent years,this paper attempts to probe into the approaches to broaden original discourse capacity for translation studies in China’s academia and further serve the governance of China and China’s participation in global governance by theoretical innovation.The research method adopted in this paper is interview,or more specifically,a tripartite dialogue.The scholars who participate in the dialogue are Professor Ren Dongsheng,a pioneer in the?eld of State Translation Program Studies,Professor Lan Hongjun,a leading?gure in translation theory research and criticism,and Gao Yuxia,a Ph.D.candidate,who interests in State Translation Program.The three scholars reach a consensus on four issues:(1)the starting point and purpose of theoretical innovation is to address existing problems and issues concerning state governance and international governance in particular;(2)multiple approaches and polybasic discourse innovations,which are encouraged,should be problem-oriented and with clear focus;(3)mechanically imitated me-too research is not innovation;(4)mono-disciplinary mindset in research should be updated to inter-disciplinary or even trans-disciplinary methodology which are systematic and interlinked.
