Exploring the current research hotspots, themes and future trends of international KAATSU training. The relevant articles from 2015 to 2021 are comprehensively analyzed using the methods of literature metrology and social network analysis.International KAATSU training research has formed a more systematic core author group, and colleges and universities are the main researchers. The research topics mainly include muscle function, exercise ability, metabolic response and cognitive ability of compression training. The research trend is biased towards muscle changes in KAATSU training and the physiological basis of rehabilitation treatment.Future research focuses on chronic diseases, rehabilitation and passive compression training, establishing the dose-response relationship between KAATSU training dose and health benefits, and establish its clinical application standards.
