Planning Ideas of Irrigation Development in Cambodia

根据柬埔寨建设“东南亚粮仓”的国家战略,为满足粮食自给自足和粮食出口的目标要求,2035年柬埔寨全国灌溉面积进一步发展,灌溉缺水形势严峻。结合地形、水系及水土资源条件等方面特点,将柬埔寨全国划分为四大分区,并因地制宜提出灌溉用水保障措施,在对现有灌区进行续建配套与节水改造的基础上,新建一批水源工程和灌区配套工程,提高旱季灌溉比例,灌溉水有效利用系数达到0.5,使灌溉保证率达到75%,灌溉保障能力得到提升,粮食安全得以保障。

In accordance with Cambodia's national strategy of"Granary in Southeast Asia"and in order to meet the objectives of food self-sufficiency and export,the irrigation areas in Cambodia will be further developped in 2035,resulting in a severe situation of irrigation water shortage.By combining the characteristics of topography,hydrography,water and soil resources,4 major regions are divided,and irrigation water guarantee measures are proposed according to local conditions.On the basis of rehabilitation and water-saving transformation in existing irrigation areas,a new series of water source projects and irrigation systems are planned,and the proportion of irrigation are increased in dry season.After implementation of the projects,the water efficiency irrigation of will reach 0.5,the irrigation guarantee rate will reach 75%,with irrigation water guarantee capacity improved and food security guaranteed.
