道德行为是君子群体身份识别的重要依据,其形成之路径多样,大要则不外乎修道、问学之二途。道是君子文化的核心概念,亦是君子道德行为的内在依据。君子以道的传承者自任,修道代表了君子道德行为“形而上”的一面。修道须先明道,道非学不能明。学要转化为强大持续的精神力量并以正确的方式呈现出来,须一于道而成之。故君子进德,不可不修道,亦不可不问学。

Moral behavior is an important basis for the identification of gentleman group,and its formation path is diverse,the main point is nothing more than two ways of cultivation and learning.Tao is not only the core concept of gentleman culture,but also the internal basis of gentleman's moral behavior.The gentleman is the inheritor of Tao,and the cultivation of Tao represents the metaphysical aspect of the gentleman's moral behavior.In order to cultivate Taoism,we must first understand Taoism,which cannot be understood without learning.If learning is to be transformed into a strong and sustained spiritual force and presented in a correct way,it must be formed in one way.Therefore,when a gentleman enters virtue,he must not neglect to practice Taoism and study.
