困境与解困:从闺阁女性到大学女校长——基于10位近代中国大学女校长成长历程的教育考察

摘要 一批近代中国女性冲破家庭困境获得了"禁缠足"和"受教育"的权利,冲破学业困境求取新知拓宽了视野,冲破"妻职""母职"困境成就教职服务了社会,冲破职业困境迎来内外兼治彰显了大学女校长风采。从闺阁女性到近代大学女校长的成长历程,是她们从私密空间走向公共领域、从被动身份认同到主体身份重构的过程,对推进中国女子教育近代化进程起着引领作用。 The modern Chinese women broke through the family dilemma to gain the rights of banning feet-binding and the rights to education, overcame the learning dilemma to obtain new knowledge and broaden their horizons, solved the social dilemma formed by the traditional ideas of bounden duties of wife and mother to undertake teaching and serve the society, and also dealt with career dilemma to manage the universities well both internally and externally to show the elegant and professional demeanor of female presidents. Their growing process from boudoir women to female university presidents is a process that extends from the private boudoir to the social public space. It is also a process where they change their emphasis from the passive identification to the active reconstruction of identity. In this sense, these women had played a leading role in the modernization process of female education in modern China.
