The change of food consumption structure has an important impact on food security.Based on the data of main grain production and consumption in Hebei Province from^(2)000 to 2018,the impact of grain consump-tion structure on food security in Hebei Province was analyzed. The results showed that:(1)The total grain consumption and per capita consumption in Hebei province fluctuated in long term.(2)With the improvement of people’s living standards and the intensification of the urbanization process, the grain structure of Hebei Province had changed greatly, and the proportion of grain consumption continued to decline. In 2007,grain ra-tion consumption became the second largest consumption category in the grain consumption structure.Feed con-sumption became the first major consumption category, and feed consumption became the largest consumption category.(3)With the rapid development of industrial industry in Hebei Province, industrial grain will become the main influencing factor of food security in the future. We should promote the steady growth of grain produc-tion,protect farmers’enthusiasm for growing grain, optimize the development system of animal husbandry and breeding industry, increase the quantitative development of animal husbandry and breeding industry, reasonably develop food processing industry, and explore the economic added value of grain.
