Objective To explore the effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing pathway on postoperative complications in patients undergoing hip and knee arthroplasty. Methods A total of 110 patients undergoing hip and knee arthroplasty in Xuzhou Central Hospital from March 2017 to March 2018 were enrolled. They were divided into the control group and the observation group?with 55 cases in each group. The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing pathway intervention, and the observation group received rapid rehabilitation nursing pathway intervention. The postoperative rehabilitation, pain and complications were compared between the two groups. Results Visual analogue scale(VAS)score in the observation group at 2 days after operation was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of nausea and vomiting, bleeding, deep venous thrombosis of lower extremities and incision infection in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Harris score and hospital for special surgery knee score(HSS)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at 6 months after operation(P<0.05).Conclusion Rapid rehabilitation nursing pathway is effective to promote the recovery of the hip and knee function, relief the pain and reduce the incidence of complications in patients undergoing hip and knee arthroplasty.
