建筑创作的过程常常被视为一个“黑箱”,难以被清晰准确地理解。对于解读者而言,建筑师在其创作生涯中的突变,相比于其日常实践,往往能够更为明确地彰显其核心理念,从而成为破解“黑箱”的一把钥匙。该文将1984年作为关键时间节点,以美国建筑师斯蒂文·霍尔思想转折时期前后的实践作品为线索,研究其设计思想的转变与设计方法的建构。通过“类比建构站点”、“概念推动构成”、“形式融合感知”三个关键词,尝试揭示一条学习与反思霍尔作品的可能路径。
The process of architectural practice is often regarded as a"black box",which is rather hard to decipher.From the perspective of the readers,the breaking point among the creations of an architect would usually be better than his usual practice to indicate his core ideas explicitly,so as to become a key to unlock the mysterious"black box".Taking 1984 as a vital point-of-time,through the thread of projects designed around the transition period of thoughts of American Architect Steven Holl,we study the shift of his design philosophy and the establishment of design methods.It is aiming to reveal a possible route to study a nd reflect on Holl's architecture through three key phrases:"analogy constructing stance","concept promoting composition",and"form incorporating perception".
