Cultivating talents of traditional Chinese medicine with morality and culture

云南中医药大学立足云南边疆民族地区,围绕立德树人根本任务,以培养高等中医药人才为目标,发挥中医药文化育人特色和优势,加强专业思政建设,丰富校园文化内涵,优化育人环境,探索德育评价机制,践行社会主义核心价值观,实现专业教育的文化凝聚、实践教育的使命担当、信仰转化的精神推动、大医精诚的价值引领,为诠释"培养什么人、怎样培养人、为谁培养人"提供了借鉴。

Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine,located in the ethnic regions,aims at cultivating high quality talents of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)by giving full play to TCM culture based on the fundamental task of developing TCM talents with morality.The university strengthens the construction of professional education,enriches the campus culture,optimizes the educational environment,explores moral assessment mechanism,applies the core socialist values to practice.The university highlights that TCM culture should be integrated into professional education,responsibility should be undertaken by students,faith and values should be converted into spiritual drive to push students forward,and medical virtues should be used to guide students.By so doing,the university provides reference to interpret and implement the following three questions:“What TCM talents should we cultivate?”“How can we cultivate TCM talents?”and“For whom we cultivate TCM talents?”
