In order to select,use and maintain profiled reeds for air-jet loom well,the selection,use and maintenance of profiled reeds are introduced.It is expounded that the profiled reeds for air-jet loom should be selected according to order demand,use frequency,fabric type and weft ratio,etc.By taking measures such as adhering to the assessment responsibility system,timely cleaning and good storage,formulating reasonable transportation methods,optimizing slurry formula,reasonable design processes,maintenance work can be done well.It is pointed out that proper selection,use and maintenance of profiled reeds can improve weaving efficiency,prolong service life of profiled reeds and reduce cost of air-jet loom.
