《金瓶梅》作者李开先说,从吴晓玲正式提出到其后卜键等人的充分证明,应该说这个问题已经基本解决了。但学术界至今仍未能达成一致意见,主要是因为“李开先说”缺乏一项较为有力的证据。很多学者都认为“欣欣子”和“笑笑生”是解开其作者的关键,实际上这正是其作者李开先为我们设的一个诗禅,答案就是作者的名与字。作者著有《诗禅》一书,在书中多次提及解谜的方法与技巧,这是作者有意而为的。其他反证作者非李开先者,主要是未能顾及李开先的个人性格特征。

That the author of the book Jin Ping Mei should be Li Kaixian is from Wu Xiaoling's formal proposal to subsequent full proof by Bu Jian and others.It should be said that this problem has been basically solved.However,the academic community has still failed to reach a consensus,mainly because this statement lacks a relatively strong evidence.Many scholars believe that"Xinxinzi"and"Xiaoxiaosheng"are the keys to unlocking the author.In fact,this is a puzzle set by the author Li Kaixian for us.The answer is the author's name and style.In Li Kaixian's another book Poetry and Zen,the methods and techniques of solving puzzles are mentioned many times,which is deliberately done by the author.The other authors who give some evidence to disprove that the author could not be Kaixian fail to take into account Li Kaixian's personal characteristics.
