After the first edition of Liu Qing's The Iron Wall was published in 1951,the author has revised the first edition of the novel from the aspects of reducing love describing,subliming the character of heroes and deeply describing the relationship of the Party,the army and the people.All of such strategies reinforced the close,collaborative relationship between the Party and the people,and preserved the original appearance of the local language,highlighting the charm of the dialect and the author's personality at the time of the standard language.In this way,it not only set an example for the revolutionary historical novel of the People's Republic of China,but also promotes the popularization of revolutionary knowledge by telling Revolutionary Stories about the relationship between the people and the army,and by narrating the history of the People's Republic of China,this novel confirms the legitimacy and inevitability of the new Chinese regime.
