The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 has caused many special bereavement events, and improper handling of grief will have a negative impact on the physical and mental health of individuals and social stability. In this context, it is worth discussing how the psychotherapists and relevant helpers could offer better grief counseling to the bereaved. Based on the particularities, difficulties and coping strategies of grief counseling in the epidemic, this paper conducts an in-depth exploration of grief counseling in the later stage of the epidemic in order to provide reference for grief counseling in similar situations in the future.
