On the Approach to Promoting the Integration and Development of Suzhou-Nantong across the Yangtze River

推进苏通跨江融合发展,是江苏省加快推动“省内全域一体化”,做强省内“微循环”,融入长三角“大循环”的战略举措。要从苏州与南通两地历史演进和现实逻辑出发,推动理念、规划、交通、园区、生态、人才、治理和机制等方面加速一体化进程,为江苏省乃至全国高质量发展做出积极贡献。

Promoting the integration and development of Suzhou-Nantong across the Yangtze River is a strategic measure for Jiangsu Province to accelerate the“integration of the whole province”,strengthen the“microcirculation”in the province,and integrate itself into the“systemic circulation”of the Yangtze River Delta.This paper proposes to accelerate the integration process of concept,planning,transportation,industrial parks,ecology,talents,governance and mechanisms,proceeding from the historical evolution and realistic logic of the two cities,so as to make positive contributions to the high-quality development of Jiangsu Province and even the whole country.
