Improving the effectiveness of curriculum ideology and politics is the meaning of the high-quality development of modern vocational education.This paper introduces the“WSR Methodology”into the research on the curriculum ideology and politics methods of the“College English”course,deeply analyzes the unique advantages of the curriculum ideology and politics methods of the“College English”course,focuses on the ideological and political objectives of making students understand physics,reason and humanity,and puts forward the ideas for the improvement of the curriculum ideology and politics methods of the“College English”course:investigating,researching,and grasping the ideological pulse;overall design and implementating“all-staff,all-process,and all-round education”;and integrating carriers to tell Chinese stories well.
