Rabindranath Tagore’s Practice of Rural Revitalization and its Contemporary Implications

泰戈尔是一位忧国忧民、关爱农民疾苦的作家。他在孟加拉邦北部管理家族田产达十年之久,亲眼目睹孟加拉农村的贫穷和落后,因此萌生了帮助农民发展农业、振兴孟加拉农村的想法,并为此做了大量工作。由此,作者联想到我们党领导的精准扶贫取得的巨大成绩。

Rabindranath Tagore was a writer caring for the development of country and concerning for the suffering of the peasants. During 10 years of managing his family estate in northern Bangladesh, Tagore witnessed the poverty and backwardness of rural Bangladesh, which stimulated him to devote himself into helping peasants to develop agriculture and revitalize rural Bangladesh. The foregoing efforts of Tagore has remind the author of the great achievement of the Targeted Poverty Alleviation Project implemented by the CPC.
