David Wisner’s picture book The Three Pigs is adapted from a classic fairy tale, using image narrative techniques including collage,graphic-text interaction, and blank and interaction with readers to deconstruct and reconstruct a new story which turns the original moral enlightenment into respect for children’s development in personality and self-reliance.The deconstruction and reconstruction make the story more artistic. The subversive adaptation is also the product of various historical cultural factors, such as living environment, development of educational views and the“post-modern”social environment.
