In the new era,the principal contradiction in our society has been transformed into a contradiction between the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.Cultural consumption can enrich people’s spiritual life and is an important indicator of the development of people’s high quality of life.Expanding and promoting cultural consumption is an important way to meet people’s needs for a better life in the new era and an important starting point for building a"Double-cycle"new development pattern.Actively expanding and promoting cultural consumption is not only the requirement for establishing Suzhou as a national pilot city of cultural consumption,but also the requirement for future development.
