艺术乡建是一场在艺术领域内由艺术家社会意识的自觉和创作空间的延伸而引发的艺术家与乡村社会的互动。与20世纪以来艺术家与民间互动形成的艺术实践不同,21世纪艺术乡建浪潮呈现出艺术家与乡民各为主体的交响式互动特征。由于艺术家与乡民在诸多方面的结构性差异,实践过程伴随着多种关系之间形成的内在张力。艺术乡建中一些成功的实践项目对固有观念提出了挑战,彰显当代价值的同时,也带来思考。

Art village construction consists in the interaction between artists and rural society triggered by artists’social consciousness and the extension of creative space in the art field.Different from the artistic practice informed by the interaction between artists and the common folk since the 20^(th) century,the wave of art village construction in the 21^(st) century centres on the characteristics of a’symphonic’interaction between artists and villagers.Due to the structural differences between the artists and the villagers in many aspects,the process of actual practice is accompanied by the inherent tension of various relationships.Some successful practical projects in the construction of art villages challenged these inherent concepts,while highlighting contemporary values,they have fostered the further development of creative thinking.
