摘要
通识教育是世界一流大学建设的重要组成部分。日本的一流研究型大学——北海道大学秉承通识教育与专业教育的融合发展理念,创建了日本具有先驱意义的全校共建式通识教育模式——"北大方式",由独立于各院系的"高等教育推进机构"统筹运营;课程设计遵循跨学科原则,重视国际化发展以及大学组织间的资源优势共享;坚持"由最好的教师进行最好的通识教育"的宗旨,选拔各院系及相关机构的优秀学者任教;构建了较为完善的教师发展支持体系以及以学生自主学习为核心的学业支持体系。日本北海道大学的通识教育模式及实践经验为我国高校推动通识教育改革、加快推进中国特色世界一流大学建设提供了良好的参考与借鉴。
General education is an important part of the development of world-class universities. Hokkaido University upholds the concept of integrated development of general education and professional education, and it has created “Hokudai Mode”, operated by “institute for the Advancement of Higher Education” independent of each department;Curriculum design follows the interdisciplinary principle, attaches importance to international development and the sharing of resource advantages among university organizations, adheres to the purpose of “best general education by the best teachers” and selects outstanding scholars from various departments and related institutions;constructs a relatively complete teacher development support system and an academic support system with students’ independent learning as the core. Hokkaido University’s general education concept and practical experience provide a good reference for China’s universities to promote general education reform and accelerate the construction of world-class universities with Chinese characteristics.
