Problems and Countermeasures of Integrating Chinese Culture into College English Teaching

在我国文化策略转变和建立人类命运共同体倡议提出的背景下,培养能用英语讲好中国故事、传播中国声音的应用型人才已成为一种迫切需求。因此对大学英语教学中的中国文化融入提出了更高的要求。本文将通过测试卷加问卷调查的方式,透过受访大学英语教师的视角,探究大学英语课堂上融入中国文化存在的困难。基于这些困难,探讨这些问题的成因,并提出建议。

Under the background of the transformation of China’s cultural strategy and the proposal of building a community with a shared future for mankind, it has become an urgent need to cultivate application-oriented talents who can tell Chinese stories and spread the voice of China in foreign languages. Therefore, higher requirements are put forward for the integration of Chinese culture in College English teaching. This paper will explore the problems in integrating Chinese culture into College English classes from the perspective of interviewed college English teachers by means of test papers and questionnaires. Based on these problems, the causes of these problems are discussed and suggestions are put forward.
