否定功能的“用不着”与“不必”

“用不着”和“不必”均具有否定功能,是否定范畴的重要成员。“用不着”和“不必”在表达否定必要性的情态意义时有很多细微差异,在共现成分的性质、否定范围、语体分布等方面均存在差异,“不必”强调“情理上的不需要”,语气直接;而“用不着”则强调“必要性的减弱”,语气相对委婉。

The negative functional yongbuzhao‘no need,have no use for’and bubi‘need not,not have to,not necessary’are important members of the category of negation.There are many subtle differences between them in expressing the modal meaning of necessity of negation.There are differences in the nature and type of the co-occurrence elements,the scope of negation,the distribution of style.Bubi emphasizes the“reasonable unnecessary”and the mood is relatively direct,while yongbuzhao emphasizes the“weakening of necessity”and the mood is relatively euphemistic.
