The realization of the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutralization means that China's economic development will gradually reduce its dependence on coal and use more clean energy.The energy transformation involved in the construction of modern energy system has a great impact on the economic development of resource-based cities.Datong is a resource-based city with a long history.This paper analyzes the existing problems of Datong's transformation and development,and puts forward a specific transformation path for Datong to build a vanguard of energy revolution according to the relevant theories of resource-based city transformation.
