The textile and clothing industry is the traditional advantageous industry and important livelihood industry in China,as well as the most historic industry regarding"Silk Road".The accumulative direct investment to"Belt and Road"initiative from China’s textile and garment industry from 2015 to 2018 accounts for over 80%of the total industry investment of the same term in the world, according to the China National Textile and Apparel Council. However,in recent years,as a traditional manufacturing industry, the textile and clothing industry is facing the problems of re-industrialization in developed countries, increasingly fierce international and domestic market competition, homogenization of textile and clothing products, continuous rise of labor costs, lack of core competitiveness and so on.It is urgent to adjust the development strategy and explore the upgrading path.Among the productive service industries, modern logistics industry has the most close relationship with manufacturing industry. The coordinated and integrated development of logistics industry and textile and clothing industry is conducive to deepening division of labor and cooperation in the supply chain, optimizing industrial structure and realizing industrial transformation and upgrading.Under the overall background of China’s industrial integration development,it is of great significance to explore the integrated development of textile and clothing industry and logistics industry. In order to explore the integrated development level of the textile and clothing industry and the logistics industry and find out the influencing factors hindering the integrated development of the two,an evaluation index system for the integrated development of textile and clothing industry and logistics industry is constructed firstly from the three dimensions of industrial scale, industrial investment and industrial growth;secondly, taking 18 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)along China’s"Belt and Road"Initiative as the example, the composite system coordination model is used to analyze the coordination of the integrated development of textile and clothing industry and logistics industry during the period from 2010 to 2019;finally,the main obstacle factors affecting industrial integration and regional differences are revealed by the obstacle degree model. On this basis, the textile industry and clothing industry are studied separately, the integrated development level of upstream and downstream industries with logistics industry in the development process of textile industry are explored, and a comparative analysis is performed on the differences in the integrated development process of textile industry, clothing industry and logistics industry. The results show that the order degree of the textile and clothing industries in the areas along the"Belt and Road"Initiative exhibits a downward trend, while the order degree of the logistics industry is on the rise from 2010 to 2019.The integrated development level of clothing industry and logistics industry is higher than that of textile industry and logistics industry, but they are still in the primary coordination state. The main obstacles affecting the integrated development of the textile industry and logistics industry include the number of textile companies, the add value of the logistics industry, the fixed asset investment volume in the logistics industry, the number of employees in the textile industry, and the volume of freight turnover.Among them, the number of textile companies, the added value of the logistics industry, and the fixed asset investment volume in the logistics industry are the three most influential factors in different regions,as well as the three obstacles with high degree of influence;the main obstacle factors affecting the integrated development of the clothing industry and the logistics industry include the capital value maintenance and appreciation ratio of the clothing industry, the number of employees in the clothing industry, the value added of the logistics industry, the fixed asset investment amount in the logistics industry, and the profit growth rate of the clothing industry.Among them, the fixed asset investment amount in the logistics industry and the capital value maintenance and appreciation ratio of the clothing industry are common obstacle factors that exist in all regions, and the capital value maintenance and appreciation ratio of the clothing industry is the most influential obstacle factor. The research results can provide useful reference for effectively promoting the integrated and innovative development of textile and clothing industry and logistics industry, and further enhancing the overall competitive advantages of China’s textile and clothing industry. The research is only focused on the areas along China’s"Belt and Road"Initiative, aiming to promote the integrated development of the textile and clothing industry and logistics industry in the regions along the"Belt and Road"Initiative, boost the international development of textile and clothing industry, enhance the international competitiveness of the textile and clothing industry and lay out the global textile and clothing industry chain. In the future,it will be a direction that needs further attention for the integrated development of textile and clothing industry and logistics industry in the countries along China’s"Belt and Road"Initiative.
