The vehicle fasteners are the basic parts connecting the critical parts of the vehicle,whose quality has a direct impact on the vehicle performance and safety.According to the statistical analysis results of common problems of fasteners before,during and after loading,the failure types and causes of fasteners failure were classified.The common failure modes of fasteners which stemmed from mixing,fatigue fracture,heat treatment,surface treatment and overload fracture were emphatically described,Combined with several typical failure cases analysis,the causes of failure modes were analyzed detailly,and the corresponding preventive measures were put forward.It is helpful to improve the quality of products during manufacturing and using.
