20世纪50年代开始的“南竹北移”是中国竹业史上最伟大的一项生物工程,引种范围、历时、规模和竹种,以及成效和教训等都前所未有。在生态文明建设的当下,它仍然富有内生动力,具有巨大潜力。如何以中型竹材满足工农业用竹需求、以美味竹笋满足人们的物质需求、以优美竹景满足人们的精神需求、以创意竹品满足人们的文化需求,实现从竹种北移向产业北移的跨越,是“南竹北移”能否继续前行的关键。

The introduction of bamboo from South China to North China,which began in the 1950s,is the greatest biological project in the history of Chinese bamboo industry,with unprecedented range,duration,scale and bamboo species,as well as effects and lessons.At present,it is still rich in endogenous impetus and has great potential under the background of ecological civilization construction.How to meet the demand of industrial and agricultural materials with medium size bamboo,meet the food demand of people with delicious bamboo shoots,meet the spiritual demand of people with beautiful bamboo scenery,and meet the cultural demand of people with creative bamboo products,so as to realize the leap from bamboo species northward to industry northward.This is the key to whether the introduction of bamboo from South China to North China can continue.
