Interpretation of Waterfront Space in Wuzhen Under the Living Scene of Residents

在历史上形成的古镇中,乌镇是地理条件和人们的生活比较完美的结合的案例之一,体现的是以人为本的空间布局原则,滨水空间是其代表。本文将乌镇古镇的滨水空间分为陆上、水上两个体系进行了解析,对乌镇代表性滨水空间类型及其组成内容以及相关居民活动进行分类分析,提取出不同类型的空间、尺度及材料等要素的特征。

Among the ancient towns formed in history,Wu-zhen is one of the cases which perfectly combine geo-graphical conditions and people’s life.Waterfront space is the representative of the people-oriented spatial layout principle.In this paper,the waterfront space of Wuzhen ancient town is divided into two systems:land and water.Analyses were conducted on the representative waterfront space types and their components,as well as the related residents’activities in Wuzhen.The features of different types of space,scale and materials are extracted.
