涉外酒店员工英语交际能力问题分析与对策研究

摘要 伴随着入境游客及海外商务客人数量的增加,大量国际酒店集团也加速在中国扩张,中国酒店业的竞争日益激烈,与国际接轨程度越来越高,涉外酒店员工的英语交际能力有待提高。然而现在大部分酒店一线员工的教育程度不高、英语交流能力较弱,与外国客人无法进行深度的沟通。文章分析了涉外酒店员工英语交际的现状及特点,指出了涉外酒店员工英语交际能力弱的原因,提出了酒店员工提高英语水平的一些方法和策略。 Since the reform and opening up,the world economy has developed globally,and China’s hotel industry has also entered a stage of rapid development with the rise of tourism.With the increase in the number of inbound tourists and overseas business guests,a large number of international hotel groups are also accelerating their expansion in China.The competition in China’s hotel industry is becoming increasingly fierce,and the degree of integration with international standards is getting higher and higher.The English communicative competence of staff in foreign-related hotels appears to be particularly important.However,most of the frontline employees of hotels are not well-educated and their English communicative competence is weak,and they cannot communicate deeply with foreign guests.This paper analyzes the current situation and characteristics of the English communicative competence of staff in foreign-related hotels,discusses the reasons for the weak English communicative competence of them,and proposes some methods and strategies for hotel staff to improve their foreign language proficiency.
