As a world-class research university, MIT’s globalization strategy was born in a complex and changing international and domestic environment and a unique internal environment. Factors such as the international development of teachers and students, the international image and reputation of institutions, the maintenance of the country’s global advanced status, and the resolution of major global issues have driven MIT to continue to participate in the development of globalization and adopt corresponding academic and organizational strategies. Its formation path is clear: a value-led path which integrates teachers and students’ concerns, value inheritance, service to the country and focus on global issues;a parallel internal governance path of "bottom-up" and "top-down";a global development path which integrates talent training, scientific research and social services.
