国际学生中国概况课的定位、目标和教学模式

The Status,Objective and Teaching Mode of the China Overview Course for International Students

中国概况课应该作为国际学生通识教育课程体系中的核心课程,并围绕该课程建设面向国际学生的、以中国国情与文化为主题的课程系列。中国概况课以培养学生全面认识中国国情与文化为核心价值目标,同时兼顾培养多元文化意识和跨文化沟通能力、强化学术研究能力与提升汉语运用能力三个能力目标。与此相应,中国概况课在教学模式上可采用"自主学习—课堂互动—探究活动"有机衔接的课程结构、"兼顾语言和内容,结合多学科知识"的融合型教学框架,并以任务为教学活动的基本单位。

The course of China Overview should be regarded as one of the core courses in the general education curriculum for international students and a series of courses with China and Chinese culture as the theme should be built around this course for international students. The main objective of the China Overview course is to cultivate students’ comprehensive understanding of China and its culture,and at the same time,it should also take into account the three-ability objectives of cultivating multicultural awareness and intercultural communication ability,strengthening academic research ability and improving the ability to use Chinese. Accordingly,in terms of teaching mode,the course structure of“independent learning,classroom interaction and exploratory activities”and the integrated teaching framework of“taking into account language and content and combining multidisciplinary knowledge”can be adopted,taking task as the basic unit of teaching activities.
