武汉市三甲医院护士普遍信任状况研究

Status on Generalized Trust Among Nurses from Tertiary General Hospitals in Wuhan

普遍信任又称为社会信任,是指个人或者群体对他人或其他群体的言语、承诺、书面陈述等十分信赖的一种社会期望,它是社会合作的前提。护士的普遍信任直接影响护患关系,以及护士自身的工作满意度、离职意愿、救治心理等,从而影响其工作的参与度和执行度。武汉市护士普遍信任状况与英格哈特在1990年调查中国居民普遍信任状况的结果相近,比2011年中国居民社会总体信任高。与其他聘用方式的护士相比,合同制护士的普遍信任程度较低。护士相关个人特征以及工作环境对其信任程度有一定影响。医院管理者应着重关注合同制、低收入及工作环境下发生过语言冲突的护士,增加此类护士的心理及社会支持,多方面提供保障措施,建立信任基础。

Generalized trust,or called social trust,is the basis of social cooperation.It refers to a highly reliable social desirability.Specifically,that desirability is the promise between an individual or a group to other persons or other groups,and it can be in oral,commitment,or written statements.The nurses’generalized trust can impact the nurse-patient relationship and influence nurses’job satisfaction,mentality on caring for patients,and turnover intention.As a consequence,that trust can affect nurses’participation and execution level negatively.In detail,nurses’generalized trust in Wuhan was slightly higher than the average level among Chinese citizens in 2011.However,generalized trust is still quite similar with the citizens researched by Inglehart in 1990.Furthermore,those nurses who are on a contract-basis have a lower universal trust level compared to those who are hired by different recruiting policies.Meanwhile,the personality and working environment will also have some impacts on their trust level.To sum up,the hospital managers should pay more attention to the contract-basis,low-income nurses,and nurses had language conflicts with patients in their workplace.Additionally,the managers should provide mental and social support,offer safeguards extensively,and build foundational trust to these nurses.
