农村地区家长对幼儿性教育的态度及影响因素分析

Analysis of the attitudes and influencing factors for early childhood sex education among parents in rural areas

目的了解农村地区家长对幼儿性教育的态度及影响因素,为促进农村幼儿性教育的开展提供参考。方法采用多阶段整群抽样的方法,选取2019年3月至5月四川省16所农村幼儿园3~6岁儿童家长1015名作为研究对象,采用自行设计的问卷进行调查。结果85.9%的家长认为有必要开展幼儿性教育,59.3%的家长认为幼儿性教育应由父母双方共同负责,65.4%的家长认为幼儿对性相关事物或现象表现出兴趣是正常的,对幼儿性教育持良好态度的家长占38.4%。多因素Logistic回归分析结果表明,家长年龄越低、性相关知识及格、孩子性别为男、孩子有过性相关行为、其他家人对孩子进行过幼儿性教育、幼儿园开展过幼儿性教育是家长对幼儿性教育持良好态度的保护因素(P<0.05)。结论农村地区家长对幼儿性教育态度良好率较低,可通过学校对家长和幼儿开展性教育,转变家长对幼儿性教育的态度,促使其主动开展幼儿性教育。

Objective To understand the attitudes and influencing factors of rural parents towards early childhood sex education, and provide theoretical basis for promoting the development of early childhood sex education in rural areas. Methods Using the multi-stage cluster sampling method, 1,015 parents of children aged 3-6 from 16 rural kindergartens in Sichuan Province were selected as the research subjects from March to May 2019, and a self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate. Results 85.9% of parents believed that it was necessary to carry out sex education for children, 59.3% of parents thought that sex education for children should be jointly responsible by both parents, 65.4% of parents thought that children showed normal interest in sex related things or phenomena, and 38.4% of parents held a good attitude towards sex education for children. The results of multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that the lower parents′ age, the qualified sex related knowledge, the children′s gender was male, the child had sex related behavior, other families had conducted early childhood education, and kindergartens had conducted early childhood education, were the protective factors for parents to have a positive attitude towards early childhood education(P<0.05). Conclusions The parents′ positive attitude rate of early childhood sex education in rural areas is low. Sex education for parents and children can be carried out in schools, so as to change parents′ attitude towards sex education and encourage them to take the initiative to carry out early childhood sex education.
