Objective To discuss the clinical effect and application value of Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of migraine patients. Methods A total of 58 migraine patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to random numerical table, with 29 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the observation group was combined with Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects, occurrence of adverse reactions and onset time of treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment 100.00% in the observation group was higher than 68.97% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).The onset time of treatment of the observation group was(4.22±1.33)d,which was shorter than(6.56±2.11)d of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion On the basis of conventional medicine, the application of Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of migraine can effectively improve the therapeutic effect, shorten the onset time of treatment, and has high safety, which is worthy of recommendation.
